Last week, members of the Trayak team attended the Sustainable Packaging Summit in Utrecht, Netherlands. More than 900 attendees in the sustainable packaging field came together to discuss the future of packaging, circularity, and global regulatory developments. Themes of collaboration, harmonization, and data-driven decision-making were front and center throughout the conference.
Trayak was proud to be a part of the conversation by leading our workshop “From Data to Impact: Steps Further and Beyond”. In the face of mounting regulatory pressure throughout Europe including PPWR, EPR, and DPP, some key takeaways included:
- Process Standardization – Business large and small should standardize their process: 1. Data Collection and Verification. 2. Environmental analysis and Hotspot identification. 3. Quick What-If Testing and Sustainable Strategy Simulations. 4. Reporting and Disclosure.
- Single Source of Truth – Whether your goal is reporting, optimization, compliance, or strategic planning, you’ll see how having your environmental data in one place opens the door to more informed decisions, better results, and reduced environmental impact.
We’re also honored that our Sustainability Intelligence software was recognized as a finalist for the Sustainability Awards Best Practice category. This category highlighted projects making a measurable difference in reducing the environmental impact of a package and its supply chain. Learn more about Trayak’s Sustainability Intelligence.
Thank you to Packaging Europe for hosting another impactful event. We’re looking forward to bringing these conversations back to the US and supporting the industry with tools that enable accurate sustainability insights.
