ISO 14067 News Release

Trayak Now Offers ISO 14067-Compliant Product Carbon Footprints

MASON, OHIO – October 23rd, 2025

Trayak is proud to announce that the EcoImpact Sustainability Platform is now verified to generate ISO 14067-conformant Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) reports. ISO 14067 is the internationally recognized standard for quantifying and reporting product carbon footprints. This new capability empowers companies to make sustainability decisions backed by independent verification and global standards.

ISO 14067-conformant PCFs allow brands to confidently report Scope 3 emissions, support corporate climate targets, and meet carbon disclosure pressures. Additionally, organizations across the supply chain are increasingly requesting verified PCF data from their suppliers. Trayak’s recent product carbon footprint blog explores how these requirements are shaping sustainable business practices.

The EcoImpact Sustainability Platform was developed with ISO conformance at its core. Trayak’s software provides the analytical foundation, while our consulting services support the remaining steps of the ISO 14067 process, including data verification, documentation, and review. EcoImpact leverages ecoinvent, the leading global life cycle inventory database, as its source of industry-average data. Trayak’s consultants can further refine analyses using a company’s primary data, an important requirement for robust and accurate PCFs.

With our PCF solution, customers can add carbon footprint information directly onto components and combine them with the GHG calculations. Additionally, PCFs generated in EcoImpact can support Scope 3 emissions reporting. For companies looking to go beyond carbon, Trayak also offers Life Cycle Assessment software and third-party reviewed LCAs aligned with ISO 14040/44 standards.
